At the age of forty - one, Bhaba came to this West Bengal from Bangladesh and for the rest forty-one years of his life time he made this Ambika Kalna his residence. So, actually this temple is also home of Bhabapagla. At the time of coming to this W.B., Bhaba brought with him the image of Mother 'Anandamayi ' of Amta Kalibari and settled here  with a new name 'Bhabar Bhabani', As this is the home of Bhaba, so we get the priviledge of seeing the unique shetches and needle works made by Bhaba preserved by his grand-children. This Bhabar Bhabani Mandir is also very much important for another reason. After passing away of Bhabapagla, his mundane body has been kept here at a place which we call 'Samadhi Mandir'. This 'Samadhi Mandir' was made according to the order of Bhaba at his life time for the days to come. Now a days the grand children of Bhaba are taking care of this temple by their heart and soul. Sankalpa Chowdhuri, the youngest son of Bhaba is still staying here and Sanjoy Chowdhuri, the grand son of Bhaba is now the Secretary of this temple. The aura of love and affection of Bhabapagla are still hovering over this historic temple.
